QMT-tech''''s Evacuation System is used to evacuate excess anesthetic gas, flue gases or other gaseous media. The system consists of a central unit with two-frequency controlled vacuum pumps and a PLC system for operation and monitoring. The central unit is usually placed in an apparatus or machine room where the excess can be easily led to the outside of the building or to a system for nitrous oxide destruction. The central unit monitors how many user stations are using the system and regulates the negative pressure and flow so that it is always kept stable. The frequency converters control the vacuum pumps so that they do not consume more energy than necessary to maintain the correct negative pressure and flow. The central unit can be connected to the superior operating system via Modbus RTU either via TCP/IP or two-wire RS-485 fieldbus. For each user station there is a control valve with silencer that controls on/off and high/low flow. The system components are connected with PVC piping for a cost-effective installation. The system complies with the standards SS-EN ISO 9170-2, SS-EN ISO 80601-2-13 and SIS HB 370. Each media type must have its own separate evacuation system. For flue gas evacuation, it is recommended to install a microbiological filter downstream of the central unit or at each user location.
