The MULTI 2 emergency shut-off box is used as a safety component in medical gas systems. This means that gas pipelines to operating rooms, treatment rooms, healthcare facilities or medical devices can be quickly switched off easily identified in case of emergency. The emergency shut-off box is usually placed in an easily accessible location, for example in the corridor.

The gasket is held by the sealing after the installation and falls off its own weight when the seal is broken, leaving the valves open for operation.
